I am delighted to announce that once again this year, I successfully completed my reading challenge on Goodreads of 60 books.

Here is, for me, the most precious Christmas gift in the world: reading recommendations from someone who isn’t paid to give them.

In 2024 (as always), I traveled far and wide across various continents and had the good fortune to gather reading suggestions along the way. I managed to explore many more female voices than last year, but my journey is still just beginning. You can see more details about the books I’ve read in recent years on my Goodreads profile.

The five must-read books that I absolutely loved are:

-Man and His Symbols – C.G. Jung

-Eve: How the Female Body Drove 200 Million Years of Human Evolution – Cat Bohannon

-End of a World: The Selk’nam of Tierra del Fuego – Anne Chapman

-The Death of Ivan Ilyich – Lev Tolstoy

-The Heart – Maylis de Kerangal

A kiss from the Monkey Temple in India, where apparently a woman can very well travel far and wide on her own. Merry Christmas!!
